    Chief Operating Officer

    Vivek has over 25 years of experience in developing and managing the finance and strategic investment functions of several organizations, in the professional services and manufacturing space. His responsibilities, as the CEO of Mayar Group (based out of Singapore), include strategic planning, policy framing and compliance, investments, M&A, and investor relations. He has been actively involved in the global expansion of the group’s business. Previously, as COO of a growing research outsourcing firm, Vivek was responsible for managing operations with an eye to consistently deliver highest quality work-products on client engagements. Prior to that, he served as the Global Financial Controller at NetAcross, an international technology services firm. He has also held engagements with two leading automobile companies, Eicher and Punjab Tractors. Throughout the span of his career, he has handled several rounds of venture funding, mergers, as well as investor exits for large corporations, both locally and globally.

    Vivek is a rank holder chartered accountant, company secretary, and cost accountant. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce.

    As the Chief Financial Officer of Phronesis Partners, Vivek is based out of our headquarters in Singapore. He provides strategic, operational, and investment related inputs, towards business expansion, building leadership teams, and growth strategies.

    Richard has over 20 years of experience in the industry and has a strong capability in optimizing high-ROI projects (including Thought Leadership, Market Opportunity Sizing and Competitive Intelligence/ Benchmarking) for top notch research & consulting firms. While working at Phronesis, Richard has been instrumental in helping clients drive revenue growth and project success. Leveraging his previous experiences as a VP of Worldwide Consulting (IDC), Senior Analyst (Forrester Research) and Head of Consulting (TBR), Richard now assumes a role to work more closely with clients in optimizing research design as well as ensuring research best practices are embedded across Phronesis SOPs.

    Global Head - Sales & Strategy

    Alok has close to 30 years of experience in managing global outsourcing and consulting firms, establishing global delivery setups, creating best in class client servicing and compliance outsourcing organisations across Research, Strategy, Technology and Analytics domain. At Phronesis, Alok is responsible for development of business strategies to ensure we are client focused, innovative, forward looking and technology driven in delivering high quality, unique and best in class research solutions to our global clients. His goal is to make sure Phronesis team works as an extension of client workplace by ensuring team adopts client culture, processes and elevate it to global standards to help our clients simplify their growth. His role ensures client trusts us due to our higher standards of compliance, world’s best customer service culture, client first business policy and impeccable record of consistent quality across our research and consulting services. As head of sales Alok is also responsible for acquiring new clients, managing global sales teams and ensuring we continue to be one of fastest growing and largest independent market research and consulting outsourcing firm.

    Alok’s last research and consulting business venture found home with a Forbes Global 1000 firm and his earlier silicon valley Technology firm is now part of a billion dollar global IT firm. Alok is Masters in Computer Science and Engineering from BITS Pilani.

    Managing Director - Europe

    Hal has over 18 years’ experience in the market-research industry. In the past he has been a senior member of the business development teams at Harris Interactive and Mintel International. He has substantial experience in providing a variety of research solutions such as customer satisfaction, segmentation, branding and conjoint studies to companies across the industry spectrum.Hal is proficient in all methods of data collection, including quantitative and qualitative solutions across B2B/B2C markets.

    He heads the London office of Phronesis, where he has worked closely with clients to execute a number of challenging studies across the globe. At Phronesis, he draws upon a wealth of knowledge and expertise in consulting for projects relating to business research and analytics. He focuses on delivering high-value research and analytics services to leading corporations, worldwide.

    Hal holds a baccalaureate degree from the University of Westminster, in London.

    Alan is a seasoned professional in consultative business development with more than 20 years’ experience in helping clients develop innovative strategies. He has longstanding expertise in helping clients meet their strategic objectives with innovative strategic & business research solutions across corporate strategy, sales & marketing, competitive intelligence and M&A functions in multiple industries. He has substantial experience on both client and vendor side in the UK and international markets.

    Prior to Phronesis, Alan was working as Vice President in a global KPO firm dealing in high-value custom research, strategy support and data analytics.

    At Phronesis, Alan’s key focus area will be the expansion of the company’s business growth in Europe. He will lead the development and execution of strategic and tactical plans to acquire new clients and realize business growth goals.

    Binayak brings to Phronesis™ over a decade of successful practice in servicing some of the leading research and consulting establishments, globally. He has led over 200 research engagements spread across an array of industry verticals and issues. Previously, Binayak has served as the Director for Strategy at a reputed international research firm. There he led research projects for some of the leading consulting, CPG, Luxury, Legal, Financial and Media solutions providers. He has considerable experience in equipping leadership, sales, accounts and marketing teams with actionable insights that drive new revenue opportunities, sustainable growth and improved profitability.

  • Pankaj Sharma

    Advisor to Board (Technology)

    An effective and accomplished senior professional, Pankaj is an expert in IT services. He has 25 years of experience in building and managing practices, enabling business growth, and transforming under-performing operations in multiple IT domains of BFSI, FMCG, healthcare, electronics, entertainment, media, and automobile across North America, Europe, and Asia. He has helped companies like TD Financial Group, KPMG, Siemens, Whirlpool, Microsoft, Daimler, JP Morgan Chase, and Hewlett-Packard to successfully deliver projects and programs on their service management and customer experience processes. Having grown from a strong technical background, he has a strong understanding of technology and business relationships by virtue of his engineering and MBA credentials. He believes in continuous learning and is a certified PMP, an ITIL V3 Expert, certified infrastructure management, and certified independent corporate director.

  • Sorabh Agarwal

    Advisor to the Board

    Sorabh has over 15 years of experience in financial research and corporate development. He has set-up big research teams for multiple large clients and was also responsible for providing guidance on large strategic transactions as well as managing the post transaction integration and implementation. Sorabh has vast experience in project and process management and setting up operational processes for large teams including delivery, facilities, IT infrastructure, general policies and procedures, compliance processes, and training.

    Previously as SMD at Copal Amba, a financial research and analytics firm, Sorabh was instrumental in setting up and managing teams for bulge bracket financial institutions spanning corporate advisory, private equity, and investment research. He was managing the India and China delivery centers, along with the corporate development function and was also involved in three large M&A deals. Prior to joining Copal, Sorabh worked in the strategy department at Tata Auto Plastic Systems, an automotive interior and exterior manufacturer, where he was responsible for a number of market entry and product expansion analyses.  Sorabh was previously an AVP at Crisil, India’s leading debt rating agency, where he was responsible for product development and setting up processes for various new products, including indices, valuation of illiquid debt instruments, and value at risk (VaR) models.

    Sorabh has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta. He has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree from Motilal Nehru Institute of Technology (MNIT), Allahabad.

    As an advisor to the board at Phronesis, Sorabh provides oversight to the business and financial research divisions and is also involved in strategic acquisitions.

    Anujeet is a seasoned professional with over 12 years of experience in market research. Prior to Phronesis™, she was employed at the UK offices of a research firm, working under the aegis of Moody’s Corp. There she was responsible for managing and growing strategic clients. During a decade-long engagement with them, she also headed their data analytics practice and was instrumental in advancing the efficiency of the data-quality function, by creating automation and knowledge repositories.

    At Phronesis™, she is responsible for new business development, strategic account development and organizational planning support.

    Rohit has over 23 Years of experience in Service Industry with focus on Talent Management and Delivery Excellence. Has set up processes for talent development, performance management and talent retention across various organizations like NIIT, STG etc.

    At Phronesis, he is involved with functional stake holders in driving execution of talent management strategy, leading various management efforts for talent identification, development and retention including focus on performance management policies and guidelines.

    Rohit did his Master’s in Business Administration in Information technology from Western International University, Arizona, USA.

  • Vikram Yadav

    AVP – Primary Research

    Vikram is a specialist in quantitative research with over 11 years of survey research experience. Having worked with multiple market-research organisations, he has managed over 300 CATI research engagements. At Phronesis™, he oversees the execution of all phone based research projects. Working closely with field operation staff, he is also charged with maintaining and improving quality standards.

    In this role, Vikram’s key responsibilities include building client accounts and managing projects.

  • Jacob Mario

    Director, Practice Leader – Business and Strategic Research Services

    Jacob brings with him over a decade of experience in setting-up and managing efficient and well-organized outsourced research delivery solutions for global corporate and professional services clients. Based out of Phronesis Partners India offices, Jacob is responsible for providing strategic leadership and vision for driving growth in our global business and strategic research practice while overseeing our research teams across delivery centers ensuring best-in-class client and service delivery.

    Prior to joining Phronesis, Jacob worked with Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services, a provider of offshore research and analytics services to global financial and corporate sectors. Here Jacob was instrumental in establishing and driving growth in several new business units for the organization particularly in the corporate and professional services arena. Before this, Jacob worked with Evalueserve, a global KPO, where his responsibilities included managing market and business research engagements out of the firms India and Chile offices.

    Jacob holds a Masters in Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology. He is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt professional (received from the British Standards Institution).

    With over 11 years of sales experience under his belt, Gaurav began his professional career with one of the leading global commercial banks. There he supporting the business development process for SME’s and deepening their network of financial consultants. Prior to joining Phronesis™, Gaurav was the Sr. Manager for client servicing at a global market research firm, operating under the umbrella of Moody’s Corp. He has significant experience in market intelligence, data analysis, bid management, competitive pricing and managing marketing functions that support business development and strategy.

    At our practice, Gaurav is responsible for presales operations, client servicing and advanced analytics.

  • Vikas Arora

    Director - Financial & Business Research

    Vikas has over 15 years of rich experience in strategy, research and corporate treasury. He has worked for multiple clients in the financial services industry especially with private equity teams of large asset managers.

    In his current role as Director and Practice Leader, Financial and Private Equity Research Services, he will provide strategic leadership and guidance managing multiple engagements and designing customized financial research and allied outsourcing solutions for asset managers, PE/ VC firms, investment banks and professional services firms.

    Prior to joining Phronesis Partners, he worked with Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services as Senior Vice President where he built and operated one of the industry’s largest offshore research teams working dedicatedly for a global asset manager. He was instrumental in building the team grounds up, maintaining great client relationship with the PE firm and its portfolio companies which helped in scaling the engagement within a very short span of time. Prior to Moody’s, Vikas worked with Genpact /GE where he led a team in the treasury function of a global reinsurance company.

  • Gaurav Tripathi

    Director - Qualitative Research & Research Support Services

    Gaurav has a rich and multi-faceted experience of the competitive intelligence process in various industries. Prior to Phronesis™, he has serviced a multitude of global research and consulting clients with actionable insights, most notably in the IT, telecom and automobile sectors. In the past, he has played a critical role in planting expert teams for key intelligence gathering that have spawned into independent practices.

    Gaurav heads the Competitive Intelligence practice at Phronesis™ and oversees customized end-to-end research engagements — from the collection of ‘serious information’ to reporting business intelligence. He also heads the expert panel-discussions for deep-dive analyses and data gathering practices with us.

    Chandan has over nine years of experience in project management. In his previous engagements, he has managed end-to-end projects for global research and consulting firms. His area of expertise includes (U)HNWI research, IT Research, quantitative benchmarking, competitive intelligence, and c-suite specific qualitative research. He has handled projects across financial services, manufacturing, retail, professional services, CPG, transportation and logistics, construction, and real estate industries.

    At Phronesis, Chandan heads the benchmarking and competitive intelligence practice, serving clients across US and Europe. His primary responsibilities are feasibility assessment, project scoping, project planning, resource planning and management, client communication, project reporting, and quality assurance for competitive intelligence and benchmarking projects. He engages with clients around competitive analysis, comparable benchmarks, organizational process classification, market opportunity studies, and market sizing studies.

    Chandan holds a bachelor’s degree in computer applications.
