Do you offer any incentive for participating in the survey?

In some surveys we do offer incentive or honorarium. In such surveys the survey invitation sent by us will contain the details about incentive or honorarium. The invitation will also specify that you’ll be entitled to receive the honorarium/incentive only if you qualify for the survey and complete it.

The survey invitation says “You’ll be entitled to receive the honorarium/incentive only if you qualify for this survey and complete it.” What does this mean?

In some of the surveys, we offer incentive in some form. In such surveys we will ask you some screening questions at the beginning to determine if you qualify for the survey or not. If you do not qualify for that particular survey, it simply means the survey’s qualifying requirements do not match the answers you have given. Sometimes, you can also get disqualified for a survey if the quota you are falling into is full (i.e. the survey has received required completes from that specific category of respondents).

In both the cases, if you are not able to access the survey to complete it, you’ll get the message on your screen.

A survey is considered to be completed if you have qualified for the survey passing screening questions and answered all of the remaining questions in the survey until you reach to “thank you” page at the end. Generally, if you get a page that asks for your name and contact information for incentive purposes, then you will have completed the survey. If you do not fill all the details required in this page, you will not receive your incentive.

All of these conditions must be met in order to receive the promised honorarium/incentive.

I’ve recently participated in a survey but I have not yet received my honorarium/incentive. Can you help?

Generally, the survey incentives are processed 8 to 10 weeks from the completion of the entire study. Some studies can run from a few days to over a month or more, depending upon how quickly the required number of completed surveys are received.

If it has been more than 10 to 12 weeks since you completed a survey and you have not received your incentive, please email us at [email protected] with the date participation and survey topic, so that we can track the status of your incentive disbursal.

I’m not finding any “survey hyperlink” in the survey invitation email. How can I access the survey page?

Some email applications may not always display the survey links as active (clickable) hyperlinks, especially if your email is set to display email in text only format.

Alternatively, you can access the survey by “copying” the survey URL and “pasting” it into your web browser and pressing enter.

After responding to few questions in the survey, why did I get the message that I did not qualify for the survey?

If you get this message, it means either survey’s requirements do not match with your answers or we have already achieved required number of participations. We appreciate concerns and hope that even if you do not qualify for this particular survey, you will consider participating in future surveys.

When I’m trying to access or resume the survey, I am getting a message that “this survey is no longer accepting responses as it is closed now”. Why?

The surveys are programmed to automatically close once it achieves required number of completes for the study. Based on the extent of participants’ interest in a survey, surveys can fill up within hours or remain open for few months.

Additionally, most surveys have a pre-defined requirement of number of completes. “Survey closed” message indicates that the survey has achieved required number of completes, or the survey period has ended. Once a survey is closed, it is will no longer be available to access or participate in. We appreciate concerns and hope that even if you found that this particular survey has already been closed, you will consider participating in future surveys.

How much time is required to complete a survey?

The completion time can vary from survey to survey. It may take anywhere from ten to forty-five minutes to complete the survey depending upon total number questions and types of questions in the survey. Speed of internet connection is also one of the factors impacting the time.

Which web browsers should I use access your surveys?

Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Firefox are the best compatible browsers to access our surveys. You may also use latest versions of other browsers to access the surveys, but may face compatibility issues with some of our surveys.

How do I access a survey via the survey hyperlink mentioned in email invitation?

You can access the survey by simply clicking the survey hyperlink mentioned in the email invitation. An alternate way of accessing the survey is you can copy the survey URL and paste it into the address bar of your web browser and press enter. You’ll be able to access the survey page.

After responding to few questions in the survey, I got the message that “quota is full”. What does this mean?

A “quota full” or similarly worded message indicates that we have already received required number of participants in your group for this particular survey. Surveys are programmed to close automatically or display the “quota full” message once the required number of completed surveys has been achieved.

Sometimes few screening questions are required to be answered at the beginning of the survey in order to determine quota. You may have answered such screening questions before being notified that the quota is full. We understand your concerns and hope that even if the quota for this survey is full, you will consider participating in future surveys.

After responding to few questions in the survey, I got the message that “those were all the questions we had for you” and the survey ended. Why?

Generally, such message appears if either the quota bracket of the survey you are falling into is full or you do not qualify for the survey.

While accessing the survey or in between the survey, I got “timeout” error or the survey page is not loading. What should I do?

This could be either due to heavy internet traffic, speed of your internet connection, and/or firewall settings at the backend of your internet connection.

In such scenarios, you can try accessing the survey later during different time of the day, using a better internet connection, or using a network which doesn’t have firewall restrictions.

When I’m trying to access the survey, I am getting message “We apologize, but we are unable to find the specific survey that you are trying to access…” What should I do?

The message – “We apologize, but we are unable to find the specific survey that you are trying to access.” is generally due to typo while entering the survey URL in the address bar. Please check the URL you have entered in the address bar of web browser and ensure that it has been accurately typed. Survey URL must be entered correctly as mentioned in your survey invitation.

It seems that the survey is running in an endless loop of the same question — What should I do?

In some survey there could be few comparison questions where you need to repeatedly rate your response to different scenarios or combinations of attributes etc. Such questions may seem very similar, or may have very few textual changes. In such cases, you may be proceeding from one question to another, but not noticing the minimal textual changes.

if you are not getting any error messages when you click the Next button to move to next question, be rest assured that you are moving ahead in the survey without any problems.

What should I do in case if my question is not answered here or I am still experiencing problems?

Please contact us through below email ID if you have questions that are unanswered, or you need any technical assistance.

When I’m trying to access the survey URL, I am getting a message that states “Please wait the survey is loading.”, however, the survey page never loads. What should I do?

Mostly it happens when internet connection with firewall restrictions is used to access the survey.

Since, we do not have any control on such scenario. We would suggest you to access the survey from a different internet connection limited/no firewall restriction. If you can change firewall settings of your system, you can adjust the settings to allow access to survey link domain.

Heavy internet traffic could also be one of the reasons why a survey is taking time in loading. Also, large number of participants accessing the survey simultaneously, or the speed of your internet connection may also lead to such issue. In such scenario, it’s better to access the survey later at a different time of day or use faster internet connection.

While attempting to access the survey or while moving to the next question, I’m getting error message like “page cannot be found” or “page cannot be displayed” or “404 error”. What should I do?

Most common cause of this is incorrect survey URL. Please re-check the survey URL or re-type it correctly in the address bar of browser.

Also, internet connection with firewall restriction may also lead to the trouble in accessing our survey. We recommend contacting your internal service provider, accessing the survey from a connection without firewall restrictions or contacting us via email [email protected].

I have answered the question by clicking radio buttons or checking the boxes on the survey page, but the next question is not appearing. What should I do?

In order to move to next question, you need to click on the “Next” button at the bottom of the page. Sometimes due to long question and answer options, you will need to scroll your window down to reach to “Next” button.

Another most common cause of this problem is that a respondent miss entering an answer needed in the survey question. If the question is “grid” type it requires answers for each row of attribute or items. Carefully review the question and your answers to ensure that you have not missed to answer any row or attribute.

Generally, in such scenario, an error message in red appears below the question text where the answer is missing notifying what needs to be corrected in order to proceed.

Can I leave the survey in the middle and complete it later? Or will I lose any of my survey responses if I do so?

Mostly, surveys are programmed to automatically resume a survey from the question it was left off. You can just close your browser window to exit from the survey and end your current session. All your answers to the previous questions will be saved and once you resume, the survey will open from the page where you left off earlier. However, please note that the surveys are only accessible for completion for a limited time period. Once the required number of surveys are achieved or specific quota is full, you will no longer be able to access the survey to complete it, even if you had earlier started it.

Can I go back and change my answers in a survey? If yes, how?

Some surveys may have provision to allow you to go back to change your answers. In such surveys, use the “Previous/Back” button available at the bottom of the page to go back. After changing your answers, click the “Next” button to continue.

Please do not use the Back or Forward buttons of your web browser to access previous or next question.

If there is no “Previous/Back” button on the survey page, it indicates that in such surveys respondents are not allowed to go back and change the answers of previous questions.

You cannot reopen it to change your answers if the survey has been completed, quota was full, or you got screened out.
